About Me

I was born in Datong, a big historic city famous for its coal, located in Shanxi Province, north China. I completed my three-year high school at Datong No.1 High School. I was admitted to Chu Ko Chen Honors College of Zhejiang University in 2005, when I was 19 years old.

After two academic years study in Chu Ko Chen Honors College, I joined Department of Computer Science. In 2008, I was chosen as one of the five students to be exchanged to National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan and I was the team leader. I studied at Department of Computer Science with Prof. Jang-Ping Sheu as my advisor. In the summer of 2008, I took a four-month internship at Menlo Innovations, located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA via IAESTE China.

Currently I am a fresh Ph.D student at  North Carolina State University. My adviser is Dr. Xiaosong Ma.
My research work focuses on high performance computing and I am in a research project about SSD now.
